The Grady twins – The Shining
Another fav horror film. I just love films with psychological terror (or is it all real?)

Trilogy of Terror Zuni fetish doll
I first saw this when I was a kid – either on Channel 20′s Creature Feature with Count Gore De Vol or on Money Movie 7′s scary theme week
Speaking of gremlins, how about some Twilight Zone? This show covered everything in the “Creepy children/dolls/critters” category.

Nightmare at 20,000 Feet – “You mean you’ve seen him too?”

Living Doll – “My name is Talky Tina, and I don’t like you!”

It’s a Good Life – “You’re a very bad man! And you keep thinking bad thoughts about me!”
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Which one is actually evil?
I did like this new version with James Nesbitt, but maybe that’s because I like James Nesbitt.
Vincent Price
Okay, Vincent Price is not technically a monster, but he’s played many deranged characters so he counts in my book. I absolutely adore Vincent Price!
Watch the wonderful Tim Burton film narrated by Mr Price
And who doesn’t like his addition to Thriller?
Dracula!

The bats have left the bell tower
The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
Bela Lugosi’s dead

Welcome to my 31 days of scary monsters and super creeps! For the month of October, I am featuring some of my favourite creepy characters (as well as some more benign creatures) from film and tv. I’ve broken them down into some general categories:
The classics
Creepy children/dolls/critters
Folks that make your skin crawl
The undead/supernatural
You may not want to view these in the dark…
As an added bonus, be sure to visit OrangeYouGlad every day.
Man, I love me some Game of Thrones. Just hearing the theme song raises goosebumps! I cannot wait for the new season to start. Check out this video of some of the visual effects – be warned, there may be spoilers if you haven’t seen the series.
